The Justice Jar

Here sits a variable list of our single song releases. Profit from songs listed here goes to organizations fighting for social or environmental justice.

Who made the bumper sticker long ago that said, “If you aren’t part of the solution, you’re part of the problem”? I dunno, but heroic historian Howard Zinn implored people to, if you can’t give your whole life, then at least contribute some to making the world better. We take so much for granted that people fought and died for in this country, e.g. voting rights, safe drinking water, clean air, a minimum wage, the concept of a weekend, an 8-hr workday, freedom from slavery, and any freedom that we have. We’ve already lost ground on these items of progress. Use your reason and see where we’re headed with our worsening state of extreme un-regulated capitalism, positions of unlimited power and no accountability, and a wide-open resurgence of violent white supremacists.
